Return Policy

Equine Essentials stands behind every item we sell. If, for any reason, you’re not completely satisfied with your purchase, you may return it to us for an exchange or refund, subject to eligibility.

ELIGIBILITY

All new items are eligible for an exchange or refund within 15 days of purchase with the following exceptions: consumables, first-aid products, supplements, treats, and saddles (see below). All consignment items except saddles (see below) are final sale, and cannot be returned for an exchange or refund.

To be eligible for an exchange or refund, your item(s) must be unused, and must include their original tags and packaging. There must be no signs of use, horse hair, or odors. Items that come in their own box like boots must be packed in their original box and shipped using a secondary box (or padded envelope) to prevent damage to the original box.

PROCESS

  1. Contact us by email at sales@equineessentialsohio.com to request a return authorization. Please include your original order number, full name, email address, and the reason for your return or exchange.
  2. Once we review your request and approve it, we’ll contact you to confirm the return authorization and provide you with shipping instructions.
  3. When packing your item for return, please include a note with your original order number, full name, and email address.
  4. Once we receive your package, we’ll review the item(s) to ensure they meet our eligibility requirements. If they do, your return or exchange will be processed within 5 business days. Refunds will be issued using the same payment method used on the original purchase.

SADDLES

We understand the need for riders to try a saddle to ensure proper fit. To accommodate this, all saddles (new or consignment) are eligible for return up to 3 days after receiving delivery, subject to the following eligibility requirements:

  • Saddle returns are subject to a 10% trial fee
  • Saddles must be returned in the same condition as purchased, with all original tags attached
  • Saddles must be shipped for return no later than the last day of the trial
  • Saddles must be shipped insured with a signature requirement (customer is responsible for all shipping fees)
  • Saddles must be shipped using UPS, FedEx, or DHL (please do not use USPS)

Once you have shipped your return, please provide us with tracking information. All saddle refunds will be processed using the original form of payment within 3–5 days after it has been received and inspected by our staff.
